Sterling & Currency is an Australian rare coin & banknote dealer run by Andrew Crellin.

We specialize in Australian coins and banknotes, from the Holey Dollar of 1813 right through to the 2011 coin sets.

Andrew Crellin's numismatic career began with two years at the Perth Mint, followed by over a decade in Sydney employed with two of Australia's leading numismatic dealers. In that time, Andrew wrote two acclaimed books on Australian numismatics, appraised the Perth Mint's archival collection and was nominated to the position of Secretary of the Australasian Numismatic Dealer's Association (ANDA).

Andrew's Background

I've written two books on Australian rare coins (The Coinage of Colonial Australia, published in conjunction with the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney, and Australia's Sovereigns, published by the Perth Mint).

I run my own business dealing in rare coins, and am based in Perth. A few years back I was selected to appraise the Perth Mint's own coin collection, and was voted in as President of the Australasian Numismatic Dealer's Association (ANDA), the peak body that  represents numismatic dealers in Australia.
